Colt Frontier Six Shooter 44-40. Mfg. 1889,S.N.1291xx, 4.75 in. bbl. Black eagle grips. Original condition in every way. Mechanically excellent, Timing, etc. Blue remaining in protected areas.Blue/patina fairly even over entire gun except shinier on top strap,but good condition overall. Barrel etching "Frontier Six Shooter" is ledgible but hard to see. Bore good but average for gun this old. All original condition. Colt factory letter (shipped to Salt Lake Cy. 1889.) Nice representative piece, not fiddeled with. About 60-70 %
