I bought it new.It has all the outstanding Merkel features: 23.6 inch special cold hammer-forged steel,demibloc construction,solid raised rib barrel;straight comb pistol grip,with checkpiece,oil-finished walnut stock;silver-grayed receiver with Arabesque engraving,engraved border and screws;self-cocking,Anson & Deeley boxlock action with cocking indicators,side clips and receiver ledge; Greener cross-bolt with double under barrel locking lugs;double triggers;positive extractors;weight-11 lbs.;No longer listed in the Merkel catalog.
