Vetterli is Sig arms today. This is a very rare one made and dated 1883. It appears to be the 10.4. The 6.5 was in a 400,000 gun order in 1905 for the Italian army for WWI. A gun runner by the name of Banner tried to sell these to the US army. They went Krag to 1903. This one has packing grease.
