Late production 8mm Nambu Type 14 with the large trigger guard and magazine retention spring.

Bore is shiny with sharp lands and grooves. 70%+ of original bluing remains. Finish shows some age and the typical rough finish of most Japanese wartime production but it is not detractive. There is little actual wear, all markings are clear and sharp.

Matching S/N's on the frame, bolt, cocking piece, trigger and magazine. No S/N's on the wooden grips or the firing pin, don't know if they ever had one. Grips are solid with no splits or chips. Action is tight. No holster.

Manufactured by Kokobunji Factory of Nambu/Chuo Kogyo under the supervision of the Nagoya Arsenal in Sept., 1942. I believe that would make this a Series 3 Nambu.
