Sharps Model 1875 Single Shot Sporting Rifle, made in Big Timber, Montana, .45-70 with 28" heavy octagon barrel marked "OLD RELIABLE", blue steel, color casehardened receiver, front silver blade sight, rear buckhorn ladder sight, tapped for tang sight, single trigger, smooth semi-fancy American walnut stock and forend, checkered steel buttplate, small spot of blue wear on front left of barrel, gun is otherwise like new.
