There are multiple ways to sell on GunsAmerica.com - and they’re all powerfully effective and simple:
Classified Ad
The traditional GunsAmerica classified listing. Offers are dealt with exclusively between seller and buyer. There are no changes to the listing until it’s removed or reposted.
Offers Only
This it is essentially a traditional classified, but with user feedback which returned to the user screen. As buyers make an offer, the seller can evaluate the offer based on his own criteria (monetary, bartering, other benefits). As the offers are sent to the seller, the seller can accept, reject, put on hold, answer questions and respond to all offers. The best offers are then listed for all users to view, and people can then try to beat that best offer. At the end of a fixed listing period, the sellers can then choose a buyer and close the deal.
Auction
Traditional auction type where highest bidder wins the auction
Approved Bidder Auction
This is a normal auction, but can only be bid upon by a pre-approved bidder list (seller approved). Sellers can decide in advance whether to provide auction access to certain individual bidders based on specific criteria. Only people these pre-approved bidder lists can bid on Approved Bidder Auctions. The benefit of this auction type is that sellers have the power to only sell to eligible gun buyers, without the “blindness” of a traditional auction. This provides for an exciting buying/selling experience.
