HOLLAND & HOLLAND Back Action Sidelock 12 Gauge
H&H DOMINION No. 3 Grade London Ejector in Original Oak & Leather case with vintage accessories.
Over 100 years old and still in amazing original condition except for the properly reblued barrels, common for English guns. This classic back action sidelock side by side game gun retains much of its original case colors and the straight grip walnut stock is stunning with crisp checkering. Original grooved horn but plate is in great shape with just a tiny chip at the toe. Splinter forend with pull down release lever. Last serviced by Andersons of Aberdeen, Scotland, from who I bought it, about 20 years ago. Unlike most of these guns, this one has NOT been sleeved or re-barreled. It sports its original barrels in fine shape with no dents or problems, all riding in its original Oak and Leather case with many accessories. The case received new straps and minor repairs many years ago but still wears its original well worn red baize liner and maker’s labels numbered to the gun! You will look long and hard to find an original Cased H&H sidelock in this condition, at any price.
