I selected the wood stock from a dozen alternates. The gun shop owner was good enough to let me hand pick the nicest one! This "pump" style gun is very versatile - you can pump it from 1-10 times to vary the pellet velocity up to 675 feet per second maximum. Typically 5-6 pumps are sufficient for target shooting. This gun is new in the box - NIB - and comes with all the original paperwork - including the owners manual. FYI - I found this information on-line.....
