This rear peep sight is a massive block of solid steel and is quite heavy compared to any of the common, small Redfield Olympic, International, or Palma rear sights. Note that this sight can be converted from right hand to left hand rifles by switching the aperture disc as well as the scales and pointers to the opposite side of the sight. This is a feature that was unavailable on any other Redfield sights. There were only a tiny trial run of these Mark 10's ever built and I have never seen another one for sale in the 30+ years that i have owned this specimen. This highly collectible example is accompanied by the original factory box. Other than some very slight driver marks on some of the screws, this sight is in practically new condition. If you collect only extremely rare shooting equipment, then this is your chance to own a piece of target shooting history that you will most likely never see available again. This rare specimen will be shipped with full insurance and tracking through UPS.
