Smoothbore in good condition. These guns came with pretty crappy locks and this one was re-fitted with a large Siler lock to make it reliable. It makes a great backup trekking gun for small game when loaded with birdshot or close range backup on large game with a round ball. This gun is unusual in that it has what appears to be a light curly maple stock and not the cheap european walnut you usually see on these guns. All steel parts have been browned.
