Description: In the first year that Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency opened a special muzzleloading season, we passed these out like candy. Here is one we probably sold new that year, an Investarm Hawken Carbine in .50 Caliber, 23 inch barrel with 1:52 rifling, a good all-around rate of twist for conical bullets or round balls. The Investarms have always been solid performers for us in traditional muzzleloaders, and we simply used FFFG or Pistol Pyrodex to compensate for the shorter barrel at the time. Sights are fully windage and elevation adjustable; double set triggers and authentic case colored locks and trigger system with solid brass furniture. Trigger is adjustable, as the photos show. Stock is genuine European Walnut. This specimen has been outfitted with a Michaels over-thimble swivel set, after an inept use of swivels caused a blemish in the under side of the forend area. The owner filled in both previous holes. Finishwise, we rate this Investarm Hawken Carbine as Very Good, with edge wear, wood scouring, and minimal occasional surface pitting, all of which affect about 25 percent of the surfaces by our estimate. Locks are Excellent mechanically. Bore is Good to Very Good, with moderate light pitting affecting the rifling grooves. Rifling lands appear strong throughout with minimal pitting to their high points. Any bore is difficult to photograph, especially traditional muzzleloaders. This IAC has been drilled and tapped for Weaver # 61 bases, and we have allowed the drill holes to set up for several hours full of Penetrating Oil, so there is no seepage. Investarms muzzleloaders have been imported by several companies. This one likely came in through Navy Arms, our principal supplier in the 1980s. We're offering this .50 Hawken Carbine for only $ 189.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
