Observe every feather in the anatomically correct pheasants, the depth of field achieved on the flat cold steel, and the details of the barns and yard. The 25" vent rib barrel has mirror bore, Skeet choke, over bored to .750, 99% rust blue, 2 3/4" chamber, double beads, a competition skeet barrel without flaw.
The action is clean and in excellent mechanical condition, with a crisp 4lb. trigger pull, trigger guard 100% blue, all in perfect order.
The stock is designed to reduce felt recoil, with a full pistol grip, tear drop shape to give firm and consistent purchase, slight Monte Carlo comb, likely the best recoil pad in the industry, and just drop-dead gorgeous wood properly laid out for strength and longevity. The checkering displays the adeptness of the master craftsman David VandenBrand is known to be. The mullered border is a feature borrowed from the finest Parker shotguns of our past, the design and layout is in synch with the lines of the gun; delightful to the eye. This fine touch is carried to the forearm. Just look at the perfect lines of checkering evident in the forend photos. That is not the ordinary talent found on other guns, but truly extraordinary. 14 1/4" LOP, 2 3/8" drop at heel, 1 1/2" drop at comb, neutral cast. Dimensions can be altered to your specs for less than $200, within reason.
