From my personal collection -- two identical brand new 870SS 12 gauge AOWs with four plus one shell capacity, the signature "Witness Protection" style of pistol grip and forend, 14.0" long barrel and an overall length of only 26.0". These unique weapons are a very rare version of the iconic 870 12 gauge. Remington produced these at the behest of the US Government specifically for the US Secret Service many years ago -- no more will ever be made. A slight production over-run resulted in just a few of these units being released to the commercial market. The Remington factory box is labeled "Secret Service CPWR #09748A00" making these shotguns an instant collectible due to their Secret Service pedigree. These weapons are in 100% perfect condition both cosmetically and mechanically. They have not been displayed, handled or fired since leaving the factory. The 870 Secret Service model features; robust all steel construction, a non-reflective black finish w/ black checkered synthetic fore-grip, black synthetic "Witness Protection" style pistol grip, brass bead front sight, reliable cross-bolt safety, total of five round shell capacity, capability to chamber both 2.75" & 3.0" shells ( can mount side-saddle type shell carriers ), original new condition factory box with special end label intact, new condition factory owners manual and new condition blank warranty card.
