Description: WINCHESTER - NEW HAVEN, CONN - U.S.A. - MODEL 70 - .270WCF - BOLT ACTION RIFLE - MFG. 1946 - 1963 - SERIAL NUMBER 109574.

This is Winchester's Model 70 Standard Grade Production Manufactured from 1946 to 1963. (Pre-1964 Model). It appears to have a factory mounted 4X Rifle Scope with Pachmayr Swing Away Mounting System. (Scope can swing off to the side to allow use of the open rifle sights).

This gun features a blued barrel and receiver - Walnut stock with checkered pistol grip and checkered rounded forearm - metal butt plate - sling swivels - adjustable rear open sight - hooded front sight - 3 position bolt safety - hinged floor plate.

This gun has been used but mostly collected. It shows only minor handling marks and is in great shape for its age.
