Has an unusually fancy barrel with octagon breech area, transitioning into 16-sided, then round. Metal parts show scattered light pitting. Stock very good, checkered in wrist, shows minor chip in front of lock, minor crack by rear lock screw and small cracks around the barrel keys. Small area in stock under barrel where the wood wore through into the ramrod channel. Possible replaced ramrod. Mechanically good, sold as a collector item only, not warranted safe to shoot.
