Description: RHINO ARMS RA-4B CA COMPLIANT AR-15; 5.56/.223 caliber AR-15 rifle with a patented magazine release mechanism designed specifically for the CA market. 16-inch DTI heavy chrome-molly barrel with 1:9 twist; flat-top upper with A2 front sight and A2 flash hider; machined 7075 billet lower with details wire EDM machined for exceptional accuracy and consistency; standard A2 buttstock with cleaning kit storage; CAR handguard with holes for accessory mounting; anti-walk pins hold hammer and trigger in precise alignment for retention and consistent trigger letoff. This is a top of the line setup.

The rifle is shown with the optional Rhino Arms detachable carry handle/rear sight. For delivery with the handle, add $88.00.

The magazine release button uses a simple, unique setup with an included tool to release the magazine, fully complying with CA laws. The tool is easy and rapid to use with the spring assisted magazine release requiring only a partial turn of the tool; for faster release, the button center can be removed to allow the insertion of any small tool for magazine release. The screw can also be set to fully lock the release button as an alternative mode. This patented release button provides several advantages over the widely used bullet button due to its locking feature and open hole access. The button can, of course, be easily replaced with a conventional release button if you were to leave CA. This is as simple as it gets while still fully satisfying CA laws. Photos show the tool being used, and the button with the screw removed.

For those who have been unsure of the “grey” areas of AR-15 CA laws, this is a perfect setup. Ships with a comprehensive owners manual, one ten-round magazine or one 10/30 magazine - your choice; (all standard AR-15 mags fit), buttstock cleaning kit, cable lock, magazine release tool, and DOJ shipment approval letter for your records.
