Gold text "Colt Shooting Master" on box top is very faded. Bottom and sides of box show little wear, inside of box has a name written on the top in ink and the serial number written in pencil on the inside bottom. The clyinder face retains most of factory blue and indicates very little shooting. Gun has been in my collection since 1970's and was not shot. The grips were replaced by the original owner with plastic stag. The gun looks almost new and has a very smooth action. The owner's name and address are written inside the box top above the operating instructions. The serial number 334000 indicates 1932 production according to R.L. Wilson's "Colt Firearms".
