Description: The item that you are considering is a new custom built M40A3 sniper rifle. This is a Remington .308 with #7 heavy barrel and recessed crown. It is set in a McMillan A4 stock and features Badger Ordnance bottom metal with Detachable 5 round magazine. The scope is not included in the sale and is already sold. The auction is for the rifle alone. If you are the buyer of this rifle and would like the Badger Ordnance USMC M40A3 rings then they will be $200 and if you want the Badger Ordnance base then that will be $150. The bipod is also available for $100. The rifle is new and has only had the test round fired from the barrel so this is a new rifle. The rifle was purchased from a recent estate auction of an individual who worked in Quantico and built rifles for a living. No, this is not a stolen government rifle and is not marked US Property so it is legal to own. I will be listing more rifles as I get to it.
