Here is a very nice relic of the ban period, an FEG Hungarian manufactured AK Type Semi, the model SA 2000M, imported by KBI in Pennsylvania. This rifle complied with the ban by, for one thing, using a unique 10 shot magazine. It will not accept AK-47 Magazines, and we know of no replacement magazines on the market other than KBI’s similar 10 rounders. Since It has a muzzle brake or flash hider, this rifle is not eligible to be sold into Massachusetts or California. It is a excellent rifle, however, with nice even matte finish, polymer forend and matching Dragunov type buttstock with incorporated pistol grip. This one is Excellent throughout, with only minor surface scuffing on its sling loop and muzzle and sight areas.
