The plating is in great shape even the butt plate on the stock. This rifle is a Golden Spike Commemorative produced in 1969 to signify the 100 years (1) that had passed since the uniting of the east coast to the west coast with the golden spike that was driven into the train tracks as the last component to the transcontinental railroad.
