Here is a never fired Browning A-Bolt in blue steel and walnut. Manufacturer, of course, is B.C. Miroku of Nankoku, Japan. Importer and warrantor is Browning Arms, Arnold, Missouri.
Construction is blued steel barrel and receiver, white steel bolt body with blued handle, crossbolt, and extractor; steel internal parts; gold plated alloy .350 smooth faced adjustable trigger, polymer trigger guard and housing assembly; and distinctive figure 8 double helix steel spring loaded T-bolt magazine. The T-Bolt comes with a total of one magazine, and extra magazines are readily available throughout the country. Barrel is medium 22 inch tapered, .702 outside diameter at the muzzle, .788 osd at the forend, and .828 at the receiver. Bore is six groove 1:9 right hand rifled. The T-Bolt’s barrel does not carry any iron sights, but receiver is drilled for Weaver #15 scope bases. Safety is tang type, capable of silence. Magazine is Browning Double Helix type, and holds 10 rounds of .17 HMR caliber ammunition. Trigger pull is 4 pound vicinity, pulls single stage with negligible felt creep and overtravel. Stock is one piece cut checkered American Walnut, with blued steel swivel studs. Buttstock length of pull is 13 1/2 inches from the trigger face to the end of the black polymer buttplate. Weight empty is 6 pounds 1 ounce, with center of gravity at the chamber. Overall length is 40 1/4 inches. Finish is polished surface blued steel barrel and receiver, white steel bolt with blued handle and parts, and satin finish urethane stock. This rifle comes to us from a Louisiana dealer. From its ZT date code, it is fresh 2016 production. It is new and unfired, but it has a short crease on the right lower edge of its forend area next to the front swivel stud, as the photos show. Its only other surface detractions are contact wear on the edge of the right bolt lug, as every single one of its production mates will have as soon as its bolt is inserted and locked into place. We rate this rifle as new and unfired with shelfwear. It comes in its original factory box with protective papers, barrel sticker still in place, owner’s manual, NRA card, NSSF safety booklet, cable lock, and a never executed factory registration card. Its box is in good shape with some tape on it at top center. This T-Bolt has never had a round chambered, much less been fired, since it left Arnold Missouri in early 2016. It has never had a 4473 form executed on it. It is under factory warranty, so we will not accept a return; Browning Arms, however, will not warrant finish in this case.
