The numbers are matching on the receiver, bolt, and magazine. There is no serial number present on the stock. Correct war time era flip up rear peep sight. The pictured sling is NOT included. The rifle has strong rifling with a shiny bore although it may use a cleaning. There is a small & discrete import marking at the muzzle. The wood stocks and hand guards are solid with some expected factory arsenal repairs from service use. There is still oil and cosmoline oozing out of the wood and action. The rifle appears to have not been reissued after being put away in storage after the war. This would make an excellent addition to any collection or reenactment outfit being correct ww2 configuration.
