Description: C&R OK. This is a Prussian Police Luger for sale manufactured by the Erfurt Factory circa 1914. The barrel length is 4 inches long and this comes with one magazine. The bore is in good shape with a little bit of frost. Receiver was cut for an artillery sight at the Erfurt Arsenal. Marked with the RC and crown stamp, at some point this was sent back to the factory for repair or refurbishment. This was issued to the Prussian Police during the Weimer period. Most likely this was send to Berlin after 1929 to have the sear safety installed and sent to the Zella-Mehlis factory to have the magazine safety added after 1932. Himmler has the magazine safeties removed on most of the Luger pistols so this pistol have the magazine safety is less common. There is a name Hans Colhas etched into the inside of the grip panel. The magazine is DWM and does not match the pistol, but does have an ampersand stamp. Many of the numbered parts on this pistol do not match.
