This Argentine Mauser Model 1891 looks like it was used very little it is in such great shape. Made in Germany by Ludwig Loewe Co. and shipped to the Argentine Army. When shipped to the surplus market in the US, the Argentinians ground off their country's crest on top of the barrel chamber. Chambered for the 6.5mm Argentine and carried in a 5 round magazine it can carry a 155 gr. bullet over 2,700 fps! Ammo is still available from Norma and other ammo manufacturers. I have not shot this rifle. Buyer must take this rifle to a qualified gunsmith before firing.
This rifle is not considered a firearm according to BATF being older that 1898. That means the buyer does not have to have a FFL or C&R license to buy.
Very nice piece of military history.
Shipping cost to be $40 via USPS Priority Mail and insured.
