Here is one of only a handful of new and unfired, unissued, Heckler & Koch P2000 pistols from a law enforcement order. Manufacturer is Heckler & Koch gmbh of Oberndorf, Germany. From their BE date codes, these pistols were manufactured in 2014. Intended consumer was a Saudi security agency. Due to instability in Yemen, the German Government nixed the export, and this pistol and its mates have sat in Oberndorf until recently. Importer stamp is on the right side of the slide, as required by US Law. This pistol was never in Alabama or Georgia, and has no connection whatsoever to HK USA. Type is hammer fired, locked breech, traditional double and single action, semi automatic pistol. Construction is steel slide, barrel, hammer, and internal parts including a steel bodied magazine; incorporated into a polymer grip frame. Barrel is 3.9 inch, with 6 groove right hand 1:9.84 polygonal rifling. Barrel mating is cam type, and with a full length steel guide rod. One piece machined carburized steel slide is contoured, with serrated rear. Sights are steel dovetailed front and rear, 3 dot type that is drift adjustable only for windage. Trigger is .400 polymer with 3 center serrations. Hammer is .330 solid steel with polymer buffer. Slide stop is fully ambidextrous. Magazine release is fully ambidextrous. This pistol does not have any lever or magazine safety, but has a firing pin and built in hammer safety. Button to the left of the hammer serves as a decocker. Frame has dual slot German type rail that is not compatible for Picatinny mounts. Frame has a squared trigger guard, with interchangeable back strap, lateral serrations, and with stippled front and back strap. Back strap in interchangeable and adjustable, as the photos show. Magazines are one piece serrated steel bodied compact type, with polymer tail cap, and cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 13 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition. At press time we were in stock on 10 round Compliant Magazines, and can sub at no charge while supply lasts. This P2000 will accept any P2000, P2000SK, or P30 magazine. Double action trigger pull is 11 pound vicinity, with 1 1/4 inch travel. Single action pulls two stage, 1/2 inch inidial travel and finally a 5 pound vicinity pull with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Dimensions are 6 3/4 inches length, by 5 1/8 inches height; and with 1.13 inches slide thickness at the port. Weight empty is 25 ounces, centered at the slide face. Finish is black oxide steel with matching black polymer. Each P2000V3 comes in its factory box with a total of 2 magazines, instruction manual, test target, and three extra back straps.
