Description: This is a Smith and Wesson, Model 500ES, chambered in 500 Smith and Wesson. It is part of Smith and Wesson's "Emergency Survival Kit." This Kit includes the Smith and Wesson 500ES, a waterproof Storm® Case, Blast Match™ firestarter and WetFire tender, Saber Cut™ Saw with fabric sheath, Jet Scream™ whistle Star Flash™ signal mirror, Polaris® compass, Two MPI Mylar Space® Emergency Blankets, Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Liner Lock Folding Knife with Black Sheath, and the book, "Bear Attacks of the Century - True Stories of Courage and Survival" book by Larry Mueller and Marguerite Reiss.

The gun is a 5-shot 500 S&W. The barrel is 2.75" And the gun comes with bright orange recoil-reducing Houge grips. This gun has been fired, but only one cylinder. Smith and Wesson discontinued the Emergency Survival Kit in 2009.
