Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer from mid 2012 until 2015. From its 12 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2012. Action is Beretta AL type gas operated semi automatic shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver with Turkish walnut stock and forend; and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 28 inch with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. Barrel has 22 ports arrayed on both sides of the rib, between the first and second posts. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tubes furnished is extension stainless, and brings the barrel length out to 28 5/8 inches: .7165 diameter IC / Improved Cylinder. Sight system is .390 width serrated top, 9 post ventilated rib, that sits .299 inch above the barrel at the lug. Front sight is steel supported red fiber optic Ray-Bar type, with .099 mid bead on the Fifth Post for a figure 8 sight picture devolving from the high post vent rib. Magazine tube is 14 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 4 rounds of 3 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably, 5 + 1 fully loaded capacity without any magazine adapter.
