A retired show rifle with what appears to be a specially-selected claro walnut stock, serial KA11244 also features an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering, steel grip cap and pillar bedding. Standard Kimber features include a 22-inch match grade light sporter barrel with an 11-degree recessed target crown, match grade chamber, Mauser-type claw extractor, eccentric design (the firing pin is actually centered in the bolt body, rather than being offset like common rimfires), three-position wing safety and five-round magazine. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.2 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is pristine, as the rifle has not been fired since leaving the factory. The trigger is tuned so perfectly it is spooky. Overall finish and wood condition is about 99 percent, with minor indications of handling. The price is firm and layaway is available.
