Actually, it is the earliest model, one marked "Firearms International," the original importer; it is prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act, hence, it is one of the better built specimens and was built prior to them getting serial numbers. The gun is in excellent shape; there is only a small area of the brown crackle finish worn off on the butt stock (see photo); that aside, it looks great, and also shoots great (please see patterns). It shot pretty well with Remington 3" shells with #6 shot, but it patterned even better with the Winchester version of the same. Because the gun is so light (about 3 and a half pounds), it actually has some felt recoil. It's a hoot! Fun to shoot, and would make a nice survival weapon, camping gun, or a great truck gun.
