This listing is for the exact grips in the photos, and one set was all we had. Here is a set of what we call Banana Combat Grips from the 1970s. Manufacturer was Mustang Grips of Temecula, CA. Stock number 141 is inked inside both panels. Construction is Brazilian Goncalo Alves wood with gray steel screw and brass escutcheons. Finish is hand cut checkering with semi gloss finish. These grips were designed for Smith & Wesson Small J Frame Revolvers with a round butt grip frame. That includes models 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 60, and later 3 prefix air lite models or 6 prefix stainless variants. They will not fit any other revolver. They will Not fit a Smith & Wesson with a square butt grip frame. They will Not fit a K frame, or an L frame, or an N frame Smith & Wesson. We estimate they were manufactured in the early to mid 1970s. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, with one factory original over line on the left panel, some scouring and spot refinish on the butt area, and a half dozen or so tiny streaks on the back strap area. These grips will be an asset to any Smith & Wesson J Round Revolver like the recent production 60-15 three inch that shows in some of our photos. They are period correct for any J Round Smith manufactured from 1968 to 1988. Prices for current production similar grips often exceed $100 for a set.
