These oil bottles are metal and were made by the Soviets for use with Mosin Nagant and captured Mauser K98 rifles. These are still in the grease in wax paper sleeves as they were when packed away years ago. Detailed Info: Original Soviet oilers, all metal construction. These oilers were made to hold oil to maintain rifles in the field. As we ship these we remove them from their wax paper sleaves and leave the packing grease on the unit. These were made to use with the captured German K98 rifles and were also used with Mosin Nagant rifles.
