Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: Here is a Savage Model 99 takedown lever action rifle in .300 savage caliber. Also included is the Weaver K-3 3 power scope. This gun as shown had sling swivels inset into the stock but are now removed leaving the recess holes. The bore is excellent and the rifle functions fine. This being a takedown model please note the takedown release on the forend is missing. Also note there has been a recoil pad installed to the buttstock but has not been sized properly for the taper of the stock. A simple belt sanding to size would remedy that concern in half hour or less. Although this rifle functions fine , has good wood and metal , a functioning scope, and has the brass shell counter overall it is not what we would normally advertise as a clean gun due to the flaws mentioned.
