Here is Ruger’s factory Magazine for its LCP Sub Compact pistol that has been a success ever since its introduction in 2008. Actual manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Gussago, Italy. Importer and warrantor is Sturm, Ruger & Company of Prescott, Arizona. Construction is one piece steel body with smooth milled back weld and with round count ports, piano grade steel spring, steel inner spring plate, and black polymer cartridge follower and two floor plates. Finish is polished surface blued steel. Each magazine holds 6 rounds of .380 ACP Caliber ammunition. This magazine is designed for the Ruger LCP Pistols only. It will possibly work, in a pinch, in a Kel-Tec P3AT, since the same contractor makes both pistols, but the floorplate will not match the Kel-Tec’s grip frame correctly. It will not work at all in any other pistol besides the Ruger LCP and the similar Kel-Tec P3AT. Each magazine comes in its factory packaging with warning sticker and a total of two interchangeable floorplates – one flat plate and one finger rest. Replacement pricing on shopruger com is $35.
