Remington Model 550-1 Semi -Auto .22 LR Rifle - Smooth one piece pistol grip style stock and forend. Power piston action. 24 In. long barrel . Tubular magazine can accept 22 Short,17 Long and 15 LR capacity. Open adj. rear sight and a front bead sight. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing . Bore is clean and bright. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition with minimal handling marks. Butt plate is in very good condition. New ejector shield . Overall condition is excellent for it's age. Rifle appears to have had very limited use. This one was manufactured in Feb. 1953. Manufactured from 1946 to 1970 . Very nice addition to any collection.
