This is a Inland M1 carbine 6 digit serial number. made 1942-43. I got this from an estate. I am not an M1 expert. This is an Inland M1, but it does have a blued barrel. There are no marking on the barrel. I have read that some guys polished the original barrels and had them blued. this might be the case here. I took the trigger housing apart and all parts were Inland except for the hammer. I also read that Inland got Hammers from Winchester in this time frame too so that is probably original. The stock from what i can find out might be a vintage Fagen. I have shot it and it functions fine. Cycled all rounds. I do not have the stock sights or wood stock, but they are easily found on line. The gun came with only a vintage scope mount and galaxy scope.I have a lot to go with the gun. 5 20rd mags, mags are decent shape, 2 wood hand guards, 1 metal vented hand guard. An origianl stock for this is about 200.00 and a barrel is about 250. So for a 500 out lay you end up with a gun thats worth somewhere between 1700-2400.
