The guys and gals there will probably collapse with laughter – until you start shooting it. Then they will notice how accurate this rifle is. I have had fun with this gun even in the limited time I have owned it, but guys, if you intend to sneak a new rifle into the home this one probably won't make it. Hence it is for sale ;-( Obviously sporting an after market laminated stock, in this case " The stock is a laminate that was probably made by Reinhart-Fajen prior to closing" and the rifle is glass bedded. It started life as a Springfield Mark 2 Model 1 Navy Reissue. This gun was converted from 30-06 to .308 caliber for the Navy. This is the conversion where a .308 barrel was used rather than sleeving a .30-06 barrel. Condition is excellent. Obviously this rifle cannot be used in CMA competitions, but it is allowed in NRA matches. It is one of those rifles I bought on a whim, and I would prefer not to sell it, but I would prefer to keep my wife even more. I prefer Postal Money Orders but recommend that you use a tracking with them (I am waiting for one to turn up to a seller – 60 day wait to get a replacement).
