Caliber is listed as .577. Bullets are available at S & S Firearms in Glendale, N. Y. Bore is great. Slight marks on the stock, no big deal. No cracks. Mechanically excellent. Holds at half cock and full cock. I marked this carbine "Used, As New" but I can't see that it has been fired. Comes with nipple protector and chain, bullet starter, bullet lube, bullet puller, and a powder measure. A $80.00 value. Barrel measures 24 inches. Nipple appears new. Will make a fine shooter for brush hunting, or for a Confederate reenactor. This is a percussion ignition system and needs no FFL. But you may wish to check a local gun shop for your laws.
