Here is Remington’s number 19656 Magazine, made to fit Remington Rimfire Bolt Action Rifle models 11, 541, and 581; and the semi automatic nylon stocked Mohawk 10C and Nylon 77, all chambered for .22 Long Rifle caliber cartridges and manufactured from the 1930s until the 1980s. They will also fit Kimber K22 series rifles in .22 LR Caliber. Manufacturer and warrantor is Remington Arms of Ilion, New York, soon to relocate to Huntsville. Construction is two piece molded polymer with steel spring and steel inner plate. Finish is black semi gloss nylon. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of .22 Long Rifle caliber ammunition. While these magazines have similar dimensions to the steel magazines for Remington’s 511, 513, and 521 rifles, they will not lock into battery in those rifles without modifying the rifle itself, a risky proposition that requires the services of a competent gunsmith.
