Description: NO FFL Required, but must show proof of being at least 18 years old. This is a great condition Springfield 1884 Trap Door for sale chambered in 45-70. The barrel length is 32 3/8 inches long and the bore in mint. The finish on the metal is in very good shape for it's age. This was cleaned up, but you can still see remnants of tiny surface rust dots. The stock is in excellent structural shape with normal wear. Lock plate reads US SPRINGFIELD, but no date. Trap Door reads US MODEL 1884. Serial number is 29xxxx. Functionally this rifle is sound, but has not been test fired any time recently. Original rod included.
