Description: Colt New Service Double Action Revolver serial #332829, 45 Colt, 5 1/2" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this 1931-made revolver retain about 98-99% original blue showing some faint operational wear, a few scattered handling marks and some minor freckling along the backstrap. The polished sides of the hammer remain mostly bright showing a couple errant freckles, the ejector rod head and lanyard ring show bold case-hardened colors and all markings remain crisp and clear. The checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions are un-numbered and remain in excellent condition showing just a couple lightly chipped points and minor handling marks. The revolver is equipped with a checkered trigger and the action seems to function well mechanically with excellent timing and lock-up. A wonderful New Service that appears to have seen little to no use. There is no box or papers
