Description: Here's a Ruger P-89 in 9mm with blue forged steel slide, black frame, stainless steel barrel & with one 10 round original magazine and one new 32 round magazine. Condition is excellent mechanics with very good cosmetics. It’s a great example of a classic alloy frame pistol that is highly regarded by law enforcement pros; nicknamed “the brick”. Nearly all the wear on this pistol is visible on the outside from holstering. Often carried, rarely fired. There is some light pitting starting on the right of the slide at the very front which is very typical because it’s where the gun protrudes from the holster. It will polish out if you have it re-blued or cera-coated ($150 option). This pistol is worth it. There are no impact marks anywhere, so re-finishing it to perfection is very possible; requiring minimal labor. The internal parts, slide rails, etc. appear like new and are very tight. The barrel looks new, showing less than 100 firings. This one was apparently tuned well by a pro gunsmith. There are no modifications other than a very smooth trigger and slide action. It shows the extreme care and servicing that a previous owner would invest into a weapon relied upon to save their life. This is not a beat-up pawn shop trade-in glovebox gun, for certain. Manufacture date is 1994. Bluing shows slight wear-through only on the sharp leading edges, typical of a leather or soft lining holster. It really is like a new gun, but better because it has been used very lightly and serviced regularly by a pro gunsmith. Check out the photos for the condition of the internal parts. The best of both worlds, especially if you are looking for an extremely reliable pistol for self protection. It comes with the original 10 round magazine and one brand new 32 round magazine, (check your local laws in your area). Substitutions can be arranged if illegal where you live.
