Over-gassed systems will usually cycle fine — only at the extreme end of the gas spectrum do problems begin to accumulate — but they run hotter and are faster to build up carbon fouling, both of which can directly negatively affect reliability. This is particularly true when running suppressed. The majority of suppressors on the market increase back pressure in the system dramatically. The Dictator can be tuned to allow the right amount of gas needed to cycle without putting additional stress on the bolt carrier group. The 9 positions allow the ultimate range of adjustability and versatility to let you can now control that rate of fire, gas flow and ultimately the reliability of your system. Featuring a straight gas tube to reduce the build up of heat, you now have a more reliable, longer lasting gas system.This feature is extremely important for select-fire and/or suppressed rifles which are subject to very high heat levels. Adjusting the gas system is easy, the front of the gas block has a dial that accepts a flat screwdriver, 3/32” hex wrench and dictation tool included in the Dictator gas block kit.
