SS#42XXX 1925 Mfg. Savage Model 23c sporter in 32-20. 24" barrel with a good bore, the rear sight has been removed and the dovetail filled and a peep sight added to the rear of the receiver (see photos). The action functions as it should and is tight and the metal finish is good with normal wear for a gun that is nearly 100 years old. The wood is really beat up with lots of dings and has been crudely checkered and has an old repaired crack at the wrist (see photos) however the stock is sound and appears to still be servicable with an old worn Savage metal butt plate. This gun should be a decent shooter in the desirable 32-20 caliber, a rare gun nearly 100 years old. Satasfaction guaranteed.
