Construction is entirely steel, with a manganese phosphate military parkerized finish. These will Not fit the M1 Garand, or the M One Carbine, or the turn signal lever of a 1959 Edsel. They will only fit the Springfield Armory M One A type rifles and their clones, manufactured sporadically by Norinco, Fed Ord, and a few others. Each mount comes with wrenches and mounting hardware. They are slotted for any Weaver type or Picatinny type optics mounting accessory, most notably the venerable all steel Burris Zee Rings. For proper installation, a person should have a torque socket set or torque gauge. Replacement pricing on similar mounts extremely hard to come by, is upwards of $200 apiece.
