All part are marked R. Front sight cover has an R w/US flame cannon ball on it. Barrel date 3-43 Rem. Receiver and barrel dates match compiled by William Hansen. Barrel is in new condition and is four grooves. TE=.3020 which is @ the second line w/1903a3 breech gage. MW=.3000 which is @ the zero mark on muzzle gage. Head spacing checked excellent w/go no go gages. The parkerizing on receiver & barrel look almost new. The stock is in very good condition w/some handling marks. There are some visible cartouches, P in a circle behind trigger guard, cross cannons w/flame & ball, FJA, and inspection marks in front of trigger guard. Rear sight has the set screw to hold the sight base in-place. The stock has reinforcement pins instead of later improvement reinforcement bolts & nuts.
