Description: The centerfire Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle debuted in 1948. Though that’s seven decades ago, it’s only half as old as the Marlin Arms Company, founded by John M. Marlin in New Haven, Connecticut in 1870! Marlin's on top-of-the-line 336 because people love lever-actions and they look great. The guns are also historic since it is with the 336 that Marlin combined a new circular bolt design and Micro-Groove rifling with its already innovative scope friendly flattop side ejection port receiver.

This 336 made in 1971 is chambered in .35 Remington with a 20" barrel set in a wood stock and forearm. Extended hammer spur. This Rifle is JM STAMPED, and comes ready with a scope mount base. Rifling is in good condition little rust on the tip of the barrel and receiver. Wood stock still good condition considering the age this rifle has.
