Production dates ran from 1988 until 2011. Manufacturer was Benelli Armi S.p.A. of Urbino, From its BF Date Code, it was manufactured in 1995. Type is inertia driven semi automatic shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, shell carrier, magazine tube, internal parts, and upper receiver, assembled into an alloy lower receiver and trigger group housing, and with Italian Walnut buttstock and forend. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably, attest the English Language barrel marking. Barrel is 28 inch overall length smooth chrome lined bore. Choke system is Benelli / Beretta type. Tube included is a .7035 Modified, and additional choke tubes are available throughout the country. that mates with the receiver’s serrated top. Magazine tube holds 4 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells, or 3 rounds of 3 inch, so 4 + 1 maximum loaded capacity. Some operators add a ghost round sitting on the carrier. 2 shot waterfowl Adapter or plug is Not included. Bolt is two piece rotary face. Shell carrier is slotted steel. Trigger is .235 smooth faced steel, pulls at 4 5/8 pounds with minimal felt creep and overtravel. Bolt release is steel serrated; and safety is rear mounted right hand shooter, gunsmith reversible. Magazine or lug cap has serrated sides, goes onto a metric thread. Note the permanent 3/4 inch sling swivels. Forend is thin line, lateral flutes with cut checkering. Buttstock is matching walnut. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch factory recoil pad. Drop is 1 3/8 at the comb, but 2 1/4 at the heel, with a 1 inch right hand cast. Weight empty is 7 pounds 2 ounces, centered at the bolt handle. Overall length is 49 1/2 inches. Finish is polished surface blued barrel, with black gloss anodized receiver and gold plated trigger. Note the lower tang repair to the left side wrist or pistol grip area of the buttstock. Apart from that, surface detractions are moderate, lateral wood wear, edge wear, freckling to the barrel, and toning on top of the rib and on the rear barrel surfaces. We rate this shotgun as Good, perhaps Very Good / Repaired, 70 to 75 percent vicinity by our estimate.
