This scarce model remains in very good to excellent condition with light overall wear. This previous owner took very good care of this rifle and it shows very little signs of use. 22” octagon barrel remains excellent with very little wear; Bore is clean with strong rifling. Front and rear fixed sights. The sideplate shows beautiful case colors. The hammer and jaws are very nice with minimal wear; The frizzen and pan do shows signs of use; color loss. No oxidation noted. The rear tang screws do show light oxidation wear; Very minimal. Stock is very good to excellent with minimal wear; No damage noted. Original ramrod included. This stock has been fitted with a home made leather sling which it fitted over the buttstock; The stock is in great condition however the leather has shrunk and would have to be cut to get off. I will leave that to the next owner; I will not cut to remove.
