Manufacture date is 1944. P.38 is all numbers matching: slide, barrel, locking lug and frame. Comes with a Nazi marked WWII magazine. Bore is bright with good lands. This P.38 is a WWII veteran of the Eastern Front and was at some point captured by the Russians during the fighting or when large numbers of the German Army surrendered to the Russians. Importation of these Russian Capture P.38's dried up over a decade ago. This P.38 is coming from a long time collector. Pistol has never been fired since importation and still has the original importers hang tag on the gun. Pistol is import marked. Pistol can be sold on a Curio and Relic ffl.
