This a Smith & Wesson model 1000 that came out of an estate. When I got the gun, it had never been assembled. The grease that is applied at the factory was removed by me. These are excellent guns, and this one has a 28" barrel, and is choked modified. At the base of the buttstock there is a place where the grain has raised. I tried to show it but it is barely visible. It can be felt more than seen. Beautiful wood, and the gun is virtually flawless. Box and instructions also. Shipping included in selling price.
